Removing calcium from your swimming pool is an issue you will have as a pool owner in Southern California. Depending on where you are in Southern California, the calcium hardness levels coming out of our tap water is extremely high and usually at the higher end of the recommended hardness levels. The levels that are recommended for your swimming pool are between 200 – 400 parts per million (ppm).
